Jennifer Seibel, head coach of the Ignacio Middle School volleyball team, receives a hug after giving a “Bobcat Buck” to student athlete and one of her players, Laci Brunson, 13, during practice at the school. “I’m recognizing her for being an exceptional student. Her education always comes first and is constantly on the honor roll of Ignacio Middle School. Her leadership and dedication in the classroom helps her shine on the volleyball court,” Seibel said. Laci is the daughter of Melanie and Jaydee Brunson.
Ignacio schools hand out bobcat bucks to students who they feel are deserving of the token that can be used at area businesses. The program has evolved and changed slightly every year for the last six years to continuously keep students engaged.
