In reference to an airport expansion

Again, I would like to thank the two-thirds of county voters for standing strong against the heavy-handed action of the county in trying to help Durangoans force a monstrosity at McCaw Mesa.

Now we must kick hard again. There are 7.5 acres adjoining the airport terminal for sale – and 35 more just north of that. Beautiful view, great area to park long term and rental vehicles, and then the soon-to-be-vacant land and building south of BP’s shop would be a fantastic lounge. The intersection at County Roads 309 and U.S. Highway 172 is custom-made for an emerging entrance to Airport Road. Traffic coming uphill slows and is great for a right turn. Northbound would slow naturally to enter Highway 172. Thanks again.
