So half of the precincts either ran out of time or didn’t know there was supposed to be a vote for district attorney? Really? We know that these jobs are voluntary, but this kind of incompetence is incredible!
Furthermore, for the Herald to print the results of the couple of precincts it happened to check and then (Herald, March 3) print Champagne’s quote about his “smashing success” was utterly ridiculous. He lost by a huge margin in our precinct.
