Indivisible Durango makes ballot picks

We are proud to represent over 900 progressive members here in La Plata County. We have been unbelievably active for 22 months, calling and visiting our Congressional leaders, rallying, protesting and pleading for their attention.

Now it is our turn. Now we vote – and we hope you’ll join us.

Vote with us for candidates who believe that America is already great. Vote with your neighbors who believe that kids should be safe in their schools, that our public lands are ours and that health care is a basic human right. Vote with those who worry climate change may overwhelm us all if we don’t take action now.

We are non-partisan but we are progressive. This year only two independents are running and neither has deep experience compared to incumbents in the Colorado House and sheriff’s department.

We are voting for the women and men who best reflect our values: Jared Polis for governor, who believes in education and innovation.

Phil Weiser for attorney general, who absolutely has the background and gumption to protect us from federal overreach.

Jena Griswold for secretary of state, who protects voters’ rights every day.

Barbara McLachlan, who works consistently to pass bipartisan bills that fund our schools and environment.

Guinn Unger, who believes that affordable health care can indeed be ours.

Clyde Church, who wants to bring civility back to our interactions. And Sean Smith and Allison Aichele, both trained professionals in their fields.

Please, vote. It’s your turn. Be Heard.
