Info on statewide races sorely lacking

With the upcoming election around the corner, I wanted to know why we here in Southwest Colorado are not being informed better regarding our state and local politicians running for office? There is no information or statements from any of our statewide candidates on any news station that we have from Albuquerque. Why are we still waiting for Denver television service?

I have lived here now for two years, and wish to be a voter who is informed and make my decision based on what I see or read about any candidate. An informed and pro-active voter. Information is sorely lacking.

I am a subscriber to The Durango Herald, and wish to see some more statements for our statewide representatives who are seeking election. There is nothing. I have written my concerns to all three TV stations in Albuquerque as well, stating that if they wish to corner the market in Southwest Colorado, and not allow us to have Denver TV, then they should be covering our area in greater depth, not just a 2-second blip about local weather. Rather, we get nightly reports of rampant heinous crimes in their city and state!
