JERRY McBRIDE/Durango Herald<br><br>01/05/2015- Durango- Durango Police Department and Durango Fire Protection District firefighters respond to a two vehicle car crash on Monday afternoon at the intersection of East 15th Street, East Third Avenue and Florida Road.
A car crash at the intersection of 15th Street, East Third Avenue and Florida Road partially blocked traffic Monday afternoon.
One person was injured when two vehicles collided at what is known as Malfunction Junction – the three-way intersection at East Third Avenue, Florida Road and east 15th Street.
Airbags deployed in the crash, which occurred about 12:10 p.m.
The eastbound lane of 15th Street was blocked, but the intersection had reopened by 1 p.m.
The crash involved a Chevy Suburban and a Subaru Outback.
One person was transported to Mercy Regional Medical Center. No further details were available.
