Shirley Isgar prepares her Tall Bearded German Irises for sale at Blue Lake Ranch. The 20th annual Iris Festival and Bedding Plant Sale will be held from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. today and Sunday at the ranch, 16919 Colorado Highway 140 in Hesperus. This hybridized iris is native to Colorado, drought tolerant and will not be eaten by deer.
