Irish folk/ballad band The High Kings reschedule show

Issues with travel visas impact the band’s Feb. 15 performance at Concert Hall
The High Kings have had to reschedule their performance at the Community Concert Hall at Fort Lewis College from Feb. 15 to April 8.

Because of a delay in the band members’ visas in Ireland, Irish folk band The High Kings will not be able to perform as scheduled Feb. 15 at the Community Concert Hall at Fort Lewis College, according to a news release from the Concert Hall.

The show has been rescheduled for 7:30 p.m. April 8 at the Concert Hall.

“We’re always disappointed when challenges over which we have no control occur, but our team and theirs pulled together to find a new date for The High Kings’ show,” said Charles Leslie, Community Concert Hall director in the news release. “I like to look on the bright side – it could be very fortuitous, as by April 8, spring has sprung and we won’t be impacted by Mother Nature’s February snowstorms.”

Tickets currently held by Concert Hall patrons for The High Kings’ Feb. 15 show will be honored. Current ticket-holders do not need to seek replacement tickets.

Those who would like a refund for the canceled Feb. 15 show may visit the Ticket Office inside the Durango Welcome Center at Eighth Street and Main Avenue or call 247-7657 during regular business hours to make arrangements or for further information. Hours are noon to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday. Refunds are not available through the Concert Hall website.
