It’s not the politics; it’s about the actions

To the many who are writing about the liberals who lost and won’t get on board, I say to you:

We are not mad that we lost, or that we have different politics or that you voted one way and we voted another – that is democracy and the American way.

No, we are upset because you watched a grown man mock a disabled human in front of many people and still supported him.

You voted for a man who spewed pure racism, advocated war crimes and still gave him your vote to run this country.

You watched him discuss how a woman’s worth is dependent on how she looks, and about assault on women, and promote adultery and multiple marriages and still gave him your permission to lead this country.

You watched him promote violence against whomever disagreed and still voted for him.

You watched him admire communists and dictators and he was still your choice.

You watched him lie, learned he didn’t pay federal taxes, didn’t pay contractors and cheated and swindled people out of money and bragged about it, and your vote went to him anyway.

It isn’t your politics I find repulsive. It is your willingness to hate a woman for things that spending almost $100 million on investigations couldn’t prove.

It is your willingness to support racism, sexism and cruelty. You voted for a bully when it mattered, and that is something that can’t be forgotten.

Trump is disgusting, but the fact that he doesn’t disgust you is what matters. No, many of us will never accept this kind of behavior from others, much less accept it from our president.
