Swan Global Investments, a provider of hedged equity solutions, separately managed accounts and mutual fund products for more than two decades, has announced that J. Gibson Watson III has been appointed as the firm’s first Chief Strategy Officer.
Watson assumes this newly created position after spending several years as an external advisor to Swan’s executive team. In his role, he is tasked with driving strategic initiatives in the areas of distribution, external partnerships and relations, operations, product development and marketing. He is also responsible for the firm’s profit and loss statement.
Watson previously founded Trident Wealth Management Consulting and Prima Capital. He also served as national managing director of the Investment Advisory Services practice at KPMG.
