I have lived in Durango since 2006. During that time, I have worked with rural electric cooperatives across the country researching and sharing information about rural energy innovations. I met Jenn Jenkins five years ago through that work.
Jenn’s background is in the wind industry, where she supported U.S. manufacturers and helped communities benefit from small-scale wind turbines. She now works to help communities have a voice in the broader clean energy transition.
Jenn would be a valuable asset to the LPEA board as the organization navigates its new energy independence. She understands energy generation technologies, energy markets, community participation and electric cooperatives – a rare skill set well suited for a role on the LPEA board.
LPEA board elections are underway. See LPEA’s website – lpea.coop/elections – for details and voting deadlines.
Please join me in supporting Jenn Jenkins for our electric cooperative.
