Just like Ukraine, when a people resemble a nation

Let's hear it for President Donald Trump who agrees that Russia’s Putin should annex the slice of Ukraine where inhabitants are similar to Russians.

I hope Trump is consistent in his thinking that when a part of any nation resembles that of a neighboring country, that part should be given back.

As so many inhabitants of the southern part of the U.S. resemble their neighbor to the south, it’s only fair that Trump return to Mexico the states of Arizona, Texas and New Mexico. I mean, why not, especially New Mexico, given its name.

And to America’s north, Alaska, North Dakota and Minnesota’s weather is virtually the same as that of much of Canada, so these states simply should more logically have “Oh Canada” as their national anthem. If you’ve ever lived through a winter in Minnesota, I’m sure you’ve felt the clear temperature connection.

Also, these six states could begin paying tariffs to the U.S. to help make America great again. And Mexico City and Ottawa would everlastingly be in debt to the nearby 44 states.

So a resounding thank you to you, Mr. Trump, for walking in the same footsteps you and Mr. Putin advocate for Ukraine and returning these American states to their logical and rightful homes.
