I, for one, will be sad to see our Arc of History/Arch de Triumph/Dino removed, not particularly because of the intrinsic beauty of the art itself, but because of the way it became truly “public” art, taking on a local personality.
I never failed to glance at it on my drive through town to see how our elves had embellished it, and it often served to raise my spirits.
Could we put a big Band-Aid on it and move forward?
