This year’s Veterans Day parade is just around the corner. We are deeply grateful for the respect the community shows its many veterans on this day.
We are also very aware of the role that politics and politicians played in most of us being veterans. However, for those politicians who chose not to serve, participation in the parade is not appropriate.
We appreciate your support from the sidelines as a non-veteran. Those of us who did serve thank you for showing this respect.
