Bayfield Elementary kindergarten students visited Semler Farm on Tuesday, learning about newborn calves, lambs, chickens and piglets.

Caden Ross discusses animal husbandry with Michael Semler, who later held a lamb for the children to pet. Semler, who is attending Northwest Junior College in Sterling this fall, led the tours with the family's exchange student from Monterrey, Mexico, Ruben Renteria Sanchez.
