Kirtland Central scored seven in the first, seven in the second, led 14-6 at the half, then finished off the Wolverines with another 14 points in the second half for a 28-6 victory Friday night in Kirtland, N.M.

Kirtland Central (1-0) will remain at home to host Durango (1-0), which defeated Cheyenne Mountain in its home and season opener 54-14.
