The Kiwanis Club of Durango will meet at noon Thursday at TBK Bank, 259 W. Ninth St.
Charlie Landsman, La Plata County coordinator, Wildfire Adapted Partnership, will discuss the importance of fire mitigation and local programs available to the community.
The meeting is open to all and lunch is optional ($13).
