Know Your Dough, a local nonprofit that provides financial literacy for youth and young adults, recently received $2,000 from the Durango City Block Grant Award and a $2,000 sponsorship award from First National Bank of Durango’s First Community Giving Program.
Durango City Block Grant Award, managed by United Way, will go to programs that align with the new Durango School District 9-R performance indicators for personal finances and support financial literacy.
The First National Bank sponsorship award will be used to fund The Money Game program at Escalante Middle School in February.
