Know Your Dough, a nonprofit that provides tailored, in-person financial wellness programs for local youth, has received $2,000 via the city of Durango Community Support Fund managed by United Way Southwest Colorado.
The nonprofit also received a $2,000 donation from Swan Global Investments.
The money will go toward Know Your Dough local financial literacy programs for students in La Plata County. Know Your Dough Executive Director Allison Andersen said the nonprofit is grateful for the show of community support and the opportunity to educate additional students about personal finance.
