Know Your Dough, a nonprofit that provides tailored, in-person financial wellness programs for local youths, announces it will deliver a modified Feed the Pig financial literacy program via an at-home learning platform to Durango School District 9-R fourth grade classes that opt in.
In-person Know Your Dough classes were originally scheduled during April and May at Florida Mesa, Park, Sunnyside and Riverview.
The program is linked to the 9-R Personal Finance Performance Indicators for elementary school students, which are included in Colorado state-mandated assessments. KYD is grateful to Durango Education Foundation, SWAN Global Investments, Consumers United Association and ASAP Payroll & Accounting for sponsoring these school programs.
