The La Plata County Board of County Commissioners will again hold its On the Road meetings at several locations this summer. The first meeting will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m. June 25 at the Breen Community Building, 15300 Highway 140 in Hesperus.
The community meetings, which are open to all county residents, provide an opportunity for informal discussion with the BoCC and key staff members (i.e., Community Development, Road and Bridge, Sheriff’s Office, etc.) to discuss issues of interest and concern.
Future meetings will be held July 23 in Bayfield, Aug. 13 at Animas Valley Elementary School and Aug. 27 at the Vallecito Lake Event Center.
