The League of Women Voters of La Plata County will host a primary election forum with Democratic candidates for La Plata County treasurer from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Thursday at La Plata County Fairgrounds, 2500 Main Ave.
Incumbent treasurer Allison Aichele will challenge candidate Tim Walsworth in debate.
Registered voters will decide party candidates at the June 26 primary election for the General Election in November. Also, voters registered as unaffiliated will be able to participate and vote in the primary election. Primary election ballots will be mailed through Friday.
The forum is free and open to all.
