The La Plata County Farm Bureau will celebrate the Farm Bureau Federation’s 100th anniversary with a “Boots and Blossoms” celebration of agriculture at 6 p.m. Friday at Sky Ute Casino.
Kate Greenberg, Colorado’s new agriculture commissioner and former Durango resident, will be speak. The La Plata County Farm Bureau will also premiere a “Perspectives on Agriculture” video by Will Witt, a national media personality.
The celebration will include the bureau’s annual meeting and dinner. Cost is $18 for adults and $12 for children.
Tickets are available at Basin Coop and Farm Bureau Insurance office on Main Avenue.
