La Plata County Humane Society will hold its annual baby shower from Saturday to May 8.

The baby shower benefits the foster program and provides foster homes the supplies needed to care for more than 500 kittens and puppies that will come into the humane society this year. Donations of KMR formula, puppy pads and other essential items help ensure homeless kittens and puppies receive the care they need to get a good start to life.

Supporters may donate supplies by shopping at their local pet supply store or by purchasing items online from their Amazon and Chewy wish lists.
