La Plata County Humane Society has been awarded a $2,500 grant from the Petco Foundation to support its lifesaving efforts during the COVID-19 crisis.
The Petco Foundation investment will help to provide veterinary care, such as spay/neuter surgeries, vaccinations and microchipping.
The grant is part of the Petco Foundation’s Pledge to Save Pet Lives during this COVID-19 crisis by distributing $1 million in product and cash donations and putting out a national call to help save animal lives.
