La Plata County Humane Society directors, team members and board members would like to extend a very sincere thank you to the entire community for their overwhelming love and support during the month of February.
The shelter lost a longtime volunteer and was broken into on Feb. 12. Thank you for the very generous monetary donations, food and treats, cards and phone calls. We greatly appreciate the community’s support of our organization. Thank you for helping us, help the animals entrusted into our care, one paw at a time.
