La Plata Family Center invites the community to celebrate its 35th anniversary from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday, April 6, in the Grange Hall at the Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad, 479 Main Ave.
Costumes and masks are encouraged for the Heart to Heart Masquerade Party.
The event will include music from the AfroBeatNiks, appetizers by Hot Tomatoes and a cash bar. Giveaway prizes, silent auction items – including outdoor adventure packages – and fun activities for children will also be offered.
Tickets are $40 for adults and $20 for children. Children younger than 5 can attend for free. Tickets may be purchased at www.LPFCC.org, Maria’s Bookshop, 960 Main Ave., and at the door.
