Parents as Teachers National Center has awarded La Plata Family Centers Coalition Blue Ribbon Affiliate status.
Earning the Blue Ribbon Affiliate designation means that La Plata Family Centers Coalition is one of the top home visiting programs in the nation, demonstrating remarkable results in implementing the evidence-based Parents as Teachers model with fidelity and quality.
To become a Blue Ribbon Affiliate programs undergo a rigorous year-long review process. As part of the process, programs must meet at least 95 specific standards which ensure they are among the best home visiting programs in the nation.
La Plata Family Centers Coalition serves children and families from prenatal through kindergarten throughout La Plata county.
