La Plata Family Centers Coalition will host a health literacy fair from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Friday in the Florida Room at the La Plata County Fairgrounds Extension Building, 2500 Main Ave.
The fair will include information about nutrition, exercise, mental health, living- and play-area safety and more. Training about family well-being and health care resources will also be available.
Child care will be provided, and a free taco bar will be offered.
