La Plata Open Space Conservancy will host a pollinator workshop July 31 on a conserved property on County Road 516, about 10 minutes south of Bayfield. Directions will be provided to registrants.

The landowner will guide attendees on a walk on the property while discussing ways to improve pollinator habitat. Attendees will learn which native plants work well to attract pollinators, whether they have 40 acres or a front yard to work with.

The workshop is part of the Southwest Stewardship Series, funded by Great Outdoors Colorado.

The event is free and open to all landowners and interested community members, but registration is required.
