The La Plata Quilters guild will meet at 5:30 p.m. June 11 at the La Plata County Fairgrounds, 2500 Main Ave.
A business meeting will be held at 6 p.m., and after a break, the program, “Trends in Upcycled Quilted Clothing,” presented by Judy Livingston will begin. This will be a power point and trunk show of quilted clothing with upcycling ideas.
There will be a workshop, “Upcycled Quilted Jacket – Part 1,” from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. June 13 at First Presbyterian Church, 1159 East Third Ave. Cost is $25 for Guild members.
Refreshments are available at the meeting, and there are opportunities to pick up free fabric and/or patterns. Purchase door prize tickets and share your Show and Tell items. Everyone is welcome.
