Lack of sports scores, stats inexcusable

I wish to add my name to others who have voiced their displeasure with the new version of the Herald, and in particular, the sports section.

One of my great daily pleasures is sitting down and reading the paper with my morning coffee. This has now been removed from my life two days during the week. I don’t want to start my day by sitting in front of a computer to get my news.

Regarding the changes to the sports section, it is inexcusable that the Herald no longer includes the game results and standings of the professional baseball, football, basketball and hockey leagues. This is probably the No. 1 item that should be preserved in a sports section.

To have to find results and standings for the professional leagues elsewhere, either in another newspaper or online, is inexcusable.
