The Democratic Party caucus takes place at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 1. Voters can find their precinct number at www.sos.state.co.us and their caucus location at www.co.laplata.co.us. I hope every voter will recognize the importance of the elections in November and come to the caucus to affirm support for the candidates of their choice.
In my view, the current political divides have never been greater and the caucus is the first step to confirm that the candidates you support will be on the ballot. The presidential race presents two great candidates and I urge every voter to help determine the front runner.
I also recommend casting your vote for Ben Lammons for district attorney. While both candidates offer great vision for the position, Ben Lammons posses the greatest experience by far in all the regional court systems including the Southern Ute Indian Tribe, and therefore makes the the best choice to serve us as District Attorney.
