The Southwest chapter of the Professional Land Surveyors of Colorado will hold a meeting from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Durango Community Recreation Center, 2700 Main Ave.
Butch Knowlton, La Plata County emergency management and building department director, will speak about floodplain surveying and engineering requirements in La Plata County and for the National Flood Insurance Program.
