Law-enforcement agencies to set up sobriety checkpoints

To keep impaired drivers off Durango roads, La Plata County Sheriff’s Office will coordinate with Colorado State Patrol and Bayfield Marshal’s Office to conduct sobriety checks from 5 p.m. to midnight Aug. 25 and Sept. 1, at two locations in eastern La Plata County.
