On behalf of all Leadership La Plata, we want to sincerely thank all of those businesses, organizations and individuals who contributed to the success of the Government Day session held at the La Plata County Extension office on Friday, Nov. 14. We appreciate the generosity of Tafoya, Barrett and Associates, La Plata County/CSU Extension office, Zia Taqueria and the Durango Chamber of Commerce for their support of the day.

It was a delight to have Sidny Zink of the Colorado Department of Transportation moderate the class and we extend a special thanks to Colorado Senator Ellen Roberts for taking the time out of her extremely busy schedule to share her leadership skills and activities with the class.

Many in the community contribute on an ongoing basis to Leadership La Plata, and we know we speak for all LLP class members and graduates when we say thank you for allowing this all volunteer program to continue. It is a privilege to be a part of Leadership La Plata.
