The League of Women Voters of La Plata County will host its annual Legislative Lowdown from 2 to 4:30 p.m. May 17 at the Pine River Library, 395 Bayfield Center Drive, in Bayfield.
State Sen. Cleave Simpson, Senate District 6, and State Rep. Katie Stewart, House District 59, will present an overview of the legislative session and answer attendees’ questions. Attendees will also have the chance to put questions in writing during the event.
League members may submit a question by noon May 10 by sending an email to LWVLaPlata@gmail.com.
