League of Women Voters La Plata will sponsor a Colorado state ballot issues forum and Vision 2020 presentation from 11:45 to 1:15 Thursday at Durango Public Library, 1900 East Third Ave.
Carol Hedges, executive director of Colorado Fiscal Institute, will provide an overview of Proposition CC (revenue change under TABOR) and Proposition DD (authorize and tax sports betting). Vision 2020 will discuss consideration of Colorado state tax code revisions.
The forum will be broadcast on Durango Gov TV and League Women Voters website. Election day is Nov. 5.
