The Life-Long Learning Lecture Series at Fort Lewis College will present “Choosing a Child-Free Life” at 7 p.m. Thursday in Room 130 of Noble Hall, 1000 Rim Drive.
Writer Nicole Hardy will read from her 2013 memoir, Confessions of a Latter-day Virgin, and discuss her experience as someone who does not want to have children. She will discuss what it means to have a child-free life and examine religious, societal, political and cultural expectations.
The lecture is free and open to all.
