I have been wondering what Edward Abbey would think about the re-engineering of Smelter Rapids, and now, the proposed construction of a surf wave feature in the Animas River.
I’m sorry, I’m old, but I have the sense that he wouldn’t like it much. Can’t we just let the Animas River be the Animas and sing its own songs?
