Heather Leavitt Martinez will give a demonstration of how to make handwriting more festive for the holidays, at noon Saturday at the Smiley Building, 1309 East Third Ave.
Attendees are invited to participate and will be given markers and templates they can take with them. There will be giveaways, special pricing on lettering gifts and the opportunity to sign up for classes in January.
Leavitt Martinez is one of The ArtRoom Collective artists who creates, displays and teaches in the historic Smiley Building. She offers lettering classes mainly for adults, with some classes for children, too.
