As our Republic continues to slip away from its original intention and we lose our liberties each day, is it a good solution to stick to party politics.to continue voting for the lesser of two evils?
George Washington warned us of political parties in his farewell address because the Founding Fathers knew it would be the destruction of the nation. Today, there really is only one party with the illusion of two because that just keeps us divided so the elite can continue with control of us.
Many in the Democratic party have left because they are sick of candidates who say one thing and do the opposite and the GOP continues to self-destruct with their big government ideas instead of being the conservative party they claim to be. The establishment of both parties has shown, at their national conventions, and in their votes on the issues, that they do not represent the people of this nation. Instead, they support special interest groups and answer to lobbyists more than their constituents.
Instead of voting how the party tells you to (which is no choice at all), how about we fight to return to the Rule of Law that created the freest nation the world has ever known? How about we do our part to vet candidates and find out if they will support the Constitution or shred it? The answer to our problems lies in the hands of the people but we need to get off our butts and do the job.
When we vote for the lesser of two evils, it is still a vote for evil. Our Republic was designed to protect our unalienable rights and liberties but it takes the people to do the work.
Please join us for a free Constitutional Candidate vetting event (no matter where you are on the political spectrum.)
Come to Options Restaurant, in Bayfield, on June 21, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. to meet candidates who are fighting for the Constitution and to understand why the recent push to amend the Constitution is a DANGEROUS one. Visit www.constitutionfirstcolorado.com for details.
