Let’s talk foreign policy here

League of Women Voters of La Plata County member Deanna Collins helps prepare the Program Room of the Durango Public Library for the “Legislative Lowdown.” The League of Women Voters is coordinating a series of foreign-policy discussions early next year.

The sessions, held every two weeks at the Durango Public Library, are sponsored by the Foreign Policy Association and coordinated locally by the League of Women Voters of La Plata County.

Topics in no certain order are Russia and the Near Abroad; Privacy in the Digital Age; Sectarianism in the Middle East; India Changes Course; U.S. Policy Toward Africa; Syria’s Refugee Crisis; Human Trafficking in the 21st Century; and Brazil’s Metamorphosis.
