Our Centers for Disease Control and Prevention gave me affordable vaccines completely risk-free, an easy solution offering protection against scary and dangerous diseases that I grew up fearing.
My change in vaccine acceptance occurred suddenly. I was ordered by my employer, as a condition of employment, to get a newly approved vaccine. I had a very bad reaction that not only left me in pain but also scared me badly.
That opened my eyes and I started learning about vaccines.
Fort Lewis College is now mandating vaccination as a condition for school enrollment. Are you aware that this vaccine is being rolled out under an Emergency Use Authorization or EUA? This EUA is allowing pharmaceutical companies to market a new, never-used technology with little research backing it? Each person who gets this shot becomes part of a trial.
Is it possible to have an adverse reaction? Could there be any long-term problems? What about fertility? No one knows these answers yet. Are you comfortable not knowing this?
This EUA can only be used if no other intervention or medication relieves the illness. Hint: There appear to be several medications that can help you get over COVID-19.
Research and educate yourself. Know your risks. Don’t be a health follower like I was and have a bad reaction. Ask questions. Find out why our media channels are only creating fear. Wouldn’t you rather live in faith, trusting your own health?
