Now that the Texas governor has declared the end of all COVID-19 precautions against every medical expert’s opinion, it opens new questions regarding Durango’s next move.
After all, where do Texans go, Durango? Will we enforce our local precautions against our biggest tourist group?
Time will tell, as well as monitoring the case loads – unfortunately, it is after they leave that tells the whole story. It also legitimizes the local no-mask believers in their pursuit of freedom from masks.
Please, let’s not let our guard down.
