Eileen Wright’s letter (March 3, “Government instills fear to control, manipulate”) illustrates every inhuman, disrespectful, and selfish impulse of trumpamerica.
No one is instilling fear, depriving Constitutional rights, or manipulating the public. This is all lies, proven by the fact that the present, legally constituted government has done everything possible to halt the spread of COVID-19, passed legislation to aid those hurt by the pandemic and the policies of the past administration, and made the franchise the right of every American to determine the future of our country.
Her letter spits on the grave of every American killed by this pandemic, and undermines every decent impulse to make right by our democracy.
