In reference to a letter from Will Coggin, Environmental Policy Alliance (Herald, April 16), indeed, let’s avoid “ulterior agendas ... to divide and co-opt the sportsmen community for their own gain.”

The Environmental Policy Alliance is a front group for the PR firm Berman & Co., helmed by Rick Berman (who was once called “Dr. Evil” by CBS’ “60 Minutes”). The story behind this firm is chronicled in The Huffington Post article “Environmental Policy Alliance, PR Firm Front Group, Targets LEED, Green Groups and EPA.” Coggins’ letter is hypocrisy defined.
