My name is Raya Halonen and I’m a fifth-grade student who goes to Riverview Elementary.
I’m writing to you about a concern I have. The ocean needs help. Plastic is polluting it and I’d like you/me to write an article discussing and to inform people about this matter. I know the ocean is several states away, but even the plastic we use in our little town can end up invading ocean waters.
I’d also like you to try to stop these uses of plastic and help me find and inform me about organizations also working on stopping this. We need to find a way to help our oceans and planet.
