Their rally did not “end” or “culminate” at Top That, nor did it “turn nasty.” Several parents and teachers were there to support them, and the alleged “incident” happened so quickly none of us even saw it. All we saw was a bunch of young people speaking out for what they believe in. The lies, hate and vitriol that have been directed toward those involved is shocking and disturbing, and this irresponsible reporting by the Herald has only made it worse. Teachers are moving mountains to make school work during this pandemic and should be applauded for everything they do to support our kids right now, period.
