Crude oil has been as high as $60 per barrel not long ago. Now it is a little over $20.
But gasoline prices have not come down here much since then.
In Oklahoma City now, regular is going from $1.19 to $1.49 per gallon. Here, as I write, regular is going from $2.36 to $2.39 per gallon.
Gas tax in Oklahoma is $.20 and in Colorado it is only $.22 per gallon. Not enough difference to justify such a difference.
I welcome an explanation from our local gas station operators, but pending that it appears we are being gouged.
